All of us at SSYH wish you and the rest of your team a happy Spring! Our Central Florida Open House and Customer Appreciation Reception was a success, and we thank all who attended for joining us.

Convergence Recap
During Convergence 2007 in San Diego, Microsoft announced an all-encompassing vision about how Microsoft Dynamics, Office and SharePoint come together to form a platform that helps customers build the Connected Business. Three themes go into this vision:

  • Connecting Your Business Vision with Your Business Software

  • Connecting Your People with Your Processes

  • Connecting Your Company with Your Community of Customers, Supplies and Partners

Bringing these themes to life is the announcement of the launch of Microsoft Dynamics GP 10, Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 and Microsoft Forecaster 7.0. These releases coincide with Microsoft's product strategy of converging the products together through an increasing amount of shared technology in an iterative series of releases. For more information contact SSYH or refer to CustomerSource.

In addition, SSYH was honored by Microsoft with an Award in Partner Excellence for maintaining at least 200 customers and achieving an 80% or better Enhancement Renewal penetration rate. We are grateful to our customers for seeing value in their Microsoft Dynamics solutions and showing confidence in SSYH.

Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon)

You posted a Journal Entry only to discover that it was wrong. Have you ever encountered this situation? Instead of re-keying all the information again, you can use the Windows copy and paste functions to assist with making the adjustment:

  • Go to the Journal Transaction screen.
    (Module>General Ledger>Journal Transaction)

  • Enter the batch number you want to adjust or press F3 to locate the batch number.

  • In the detail grid area, click on the cell just below the word "Detail" This will highlight all rows and columns.

  • Press the "CTRL" key and the letter "C" at the same time. This will copy the grid area to the Windows clipboard.

  • Close the screen and reopen it.

  • In the detail grid area, click on the first cell. This would be the company field if the screen has not been customized.

  • Press the "CTRL" key and the letter "V" at the same time. This will paste the information into the detail grid area.

  • At this point all you will need to do is fix the amounts (reverse debits and credits).
