Marty Windsor

Marty Windsor
Marketing Manager

Marty Windsor has been with SSYH since September of 2008. She took on the newly created role of Marketing Manager in an effort to ramp up the organization's marketing efforts and generate qualified sales leads. Prior to joining SSYH, she held marketing management positions with Censeo Corporation in Maitland, Florida and Mactive, Inc. in Melbourne, Florida.

Marty received her BA in English from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.

Marty is an avid music fan. Her favorite artists include Dave Matthews Band, the Beatles and Stevie Ray Vaughan. She anticipates reaching a milestone in 2009 by attending her 200th live concert. She has documented every show and has the ticket stubs from almost all of them.

"I saw my first concert at age eight, but my serious concertgoing years didn't really start until the mid-70s in Central Florida" says Marty. "I've seen undiscovered artisits (who later became famous) playing to intimate audiences in small venues, and supergroups like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and the Rolling Stones performing to thousands of fans in sold out stadiums. Particularly memorable shows include Queen in 1977, Bruce Springsteen in 1985, Don Henley in 1990 and Dave Matthews Band in 2001."

Marty enjoys spending time with her 12-year-old daughter and their dachshund, boating, camping, entertaining, celebrating holidays, writing, and designing websites.

 WHAT'S NEW AT SSYH?

 

SSYH WebsiteSSYH is preparing to launch a redesigned corporate website at www.ssyh.com. The project has been in development for almost two months.

 

Earlier this year Reagan Stanley and Marty Windsor attended Microsoft sponsored Marketing workshops presented by SalesWorks. The workshops stressed the importance of positioning the corporate website at the center of all marketing and lead generation activities.

 

"Some companies are not aware of the latest search engine optimization (SEO) rules and how important it is to ensure their websites stay in compliance as the rules change. Your website can either help or hinder customers and potential prospects as they search the Internet for accounting information systems," Reagan said. "SSYH's new website will meet current SEO compliance standards."

 

SSYH used internal resources to completely redesign the website, focusing on a clean, updated look and feel, improved navigation, beefed-up content, and SEO compliance. Look for enhanced product information, white papers, demo videos and success stories.

 

"When we're finished with the content, we'll test everything thoroughly and then do a final SEO review. We hope to have the site up and running within a month if everything stays on schedule," Marty explained.

  CONVERGENCE RECAP

 

Convergence is the premier Microsoft Dynamics event, bringing customers, partners, team members and industry experts together in an environment created to discuss solutions, address business needs and establish a true community that can be leveraged throughout the year. Business and technology leaders from around the world joined together in New Orleans March 10-13 to gain new insights and share innovative ideas.

 

Reagan Stanley and Gary Krist from SSYH were on hand to welcome clients from Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers, Allchem Industries, and Restaurant Services.

 

"We hope this opportunity helped our customers widen their circle of contacts while showing them new ways to maximize their investments in Microsoft technology," Reagan said.

After making solid progress in executing on the Dynamics product line vision communicated at Convergence 2008, Microsoft came to Convergence 2009 armed with plenty of good news in a bad economy. Positive messages included good feedback on the role-tailored user experience, the AX 2009 and NAV 2009 roll out with customer references to back it up, Dynamics CRM Online growth, expansion of the EDS partnership, and successful upgrade stories to tell. Current product planning and positioning is underway with a sense of logical progression into the future.

 

If you've never attended Convergence before, you should plan ahead to join SSYH and Microsoft in Atlanta in March 2010. Look for a reminder later this year.
