Natalia DeMars

Each quarter, SSYH lets you get to know one of our employees a little better. This quarter's featured employee is Natalia DeMars, Sales Coordinator.

Natalia joined the SSYH staff in July 2007 as the Sales Coordinator, responsible for performing a variety of duties to assist the sales staff, including proposal preparation, processing client orders, and customer service.

Additionally, Natalia is responsible for ensuring that all clients' enhancement and maintenance plans remain current and active. Natalia enjoys personal communication with all clients and vendors. She hopes to become acquainted with all SSYH clients and their business needs so that every client is guaranteed the highest level of customer service and is fully satisfied with their Microsoft Dynamics investment.

Originally from Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, Natalia is fluent in Spanish. She spent many years in Jacksonville, FL, where she attended Florida Community College at Jacksonville. Before coming to SSYH, Natalia gained several years of experience in both the sales and purchasing fields gaining a buyer's perspective, allowing her to better understand the needs of SSYH's clients.

Natalia currently lives in Winter Park, FL with her husband and 3 1/2 year old daughter. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, dog, cat, and snake, reading, swimming, and participating in her daughter's school activities.

SSYH is pleased to announce the relocation of our corporate office in Central Florida. Effective August 1, 2008, our new address will be:

Beginning August 1, 2008, please update your records and send all correspondence to the new address. All telephone numbers, Web and email addresses will remain the same. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The new location will provide us with the needed space for existing personnel as well as room to expand. We look forward to sharing our new location with our clients and friends in the coming months.

 

SSYH has teamed up with ADC Technologies Group to provide solutions to complement Microsoft Dynamics GP. This affordable solution for both warehouse and sales personnel automates receiving, inventory management and the shipping process through the use of bar code scanning and wireless technology. Remote order entry and inventory inquiry options for sales teams are available as well. These applications run on traditional smart phones or PDAs, as well as rugged devices suitable for use in a warehouse environment.   TIPS & TRICKS FROM THE HELPDESK

Do you need help from SSYH?

Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0

There are two new AP screens in Microsoft Dynamics SL 7.0 for the Pay When Paid terms code feature. They are Pay When Paid Link Assistant and Pay When Paid Link Entry. Both screens can be used to link an AP Voucher to an AR Invoice. If an AP Voucher is linked to an AR Invoice, the APO Voucher will not be selected for Payment in the Payment Selection screen until the AR Invoice is paid. You can, however, manually select the voucher for payment in the Edit/Select Documents for Payment screen.

Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0

New Feature: Sub-Ledger Reconciler

 

Automatically identifies transaction discrepancies between the sub-ledgers (AR & AP) and General Ledger. New functionality reduces the amount of time spent reconciling the Payables or Receivables sub-ledger to General Ledger.

 

This feature does not automatically fix imbalances between the sub-ledgers and General Ledger, nor does it correct posted transactions, or create adjusting transactions. It does help to identify the imbalance thereby saving you time having to research the out of balance issue.
